Extension of the deadline for the survey on the barriers for flammable refrigerants
The deadline for the survey on the barriers for flammable refrigerants has been extended until the 30 April. We much appreciate the solid number of responses and contributions collected so far. We wish to receive further interesting inputs from system manufacturers, end-users, trade bodies, the research community, national authorities and NPOs working in the HVAC&R sector.
The survey findings will contribute to market research investigating the impact of current standards on the HVAC&R industry, and the introduction of hydrocarbon-based technology in particular. The ultimate purpose is to eliminate existing barriers for these refrigerants in the relevant industry standards.
The aggregated results of the market research will be publicly disclosed in September 2018, at the end of the data elaboration and interpretation phase.
The survey is part of the EU-funded project LIFE FRONT, aiming to remove “barriers posed by standards” for flammable refrigerants in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump (RACHP) applications. It started in mid-2017 and will run until mid-2020.
